Graphic Designer

ContractRemote, Nigeria-basedThrough Dec 31, 2026Paid bi-weekly

We're hiring a contract graphic designer to own the marketing visuals for a major live event brand this fall. You will design the assets that sell the event: announcement flyers, lineup drops, artist cards, countdowns, ticket pushes, and social content. We supply the photos and the copy. You supply design at a level that competes with the best event brands in the space.

For the caliber of work we expect, see @theafroplus on Instagram. That is the reference point for finish, typography, and overall polish.

What we are looking for

The bar: finishing

Finishing is the single biggest thing we evaluate: intentional type treatment, clean photo integration, deliberate texture, premium exports. If your portfolio does not show this level of polish, this role will not be a fit.

Event Marketing
Video Editor

ContractRemote, Nigeria-basedThrough Dec 31, 2026Paid bi-weekly

We're hiring a contract video editor with strong motion graphics skills to own the short-form video content for a major live event brand this fall. You will cut the videos that sell the event: promo edits, motion graphic pieces, countdowns, artist announcements, and recap-style content. Formats vary by placement, from social feeds and stories to screens and web, so you will work in both vertical and horizontal.

This is a motion-heavy role. Motion graphics are half the job: keyframed text animation, photo and text overlays, and fully animated graphic pieces, not just cuts and transitions.

The bar: finishing

In video, finishing means intentional type animation, smooth easing, clean overlay work, edits locked to the music, and exports that look premium on a phone at full brightness. If your current work does not reach the level of the references above, this role will not be a fit.

Process

How hiring works

  1. Apply through the form with your portfolio or reel. We review every application and respond to everyone.
  2. Test brief. Shortlisted candidates receive a short, unpaid test built on fictional event details, so nothing you make can ever be used by us. Compensation details are shared at this stage.
  3. Shortlist call to talk pace, process, and pay. Then an offer: contract through December 31, paid bi-weekly.
